Main Responsibility:

 Drives the route truck or vehicle assigned to him to assist the Salesman in delivering full products and retrieval

of empties within the routing area or nearby areas assigned to him

Roles and Responsibilities:

Before Routing

 Reports to the Sales Office at the prescribed time

 Reports for work well groomed – must be observing proper hygiene.

 Wears the proper uniform

 Ensures that he is in good health condition and not under the influence of liquor or drugs before routing

 Cleans the truck

 Inspects the truck using the BLOWBAGETS checklist (Brake, light, oil, water, Battery Air, Gas, Engine,

Tools, Self)

 Ensures that the truck is in good running condition before routing

 Assists Helper in loading contents and unloading containers from the truck

While Routing

 Responsible in securing the Sales Invoice prepared by the Salesman

 Responsible in turning over the Sales Invoice to the respective outlet upon complete payment of deliveries

 Counts, checks, and receives cash and check payments from the outlet

 Ensures safety of passengers and products loaded in the truck

 Assists the Sales in merchandising (postering, display, and stock inspection)

After Routing

 Responsible in preparing returns slip

 Remits payment received from the outlet to the Cashier

 Reports to the Dispatcher of all truck or engine trouble

 Prepares documents for the repair of the trouble

 Assists in the sorting of empties
