About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior SOC Manager / Cybersecurity Operations Lead to oversee our Security Operations Center and strengthen our overall cybersecurity posture. This role requires a proven leader with strong technical expertise, the ability to guide teams through complex security incidents, and the vision to align cybersecurity strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage SOC operations, ensuring timely detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity threats.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of SIEM and security monitoring platforms.
  • Directly manage and mentor SOC analysts and engineers, fostering professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices in line with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, compliance, and executive leadership to ensure alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead incident response and crisis management efforts, making critical decisions under pressure.
  • Drive risk management initiatives, including compliance monitoring, audits, and governance frameworks.
  • Develop long-term cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps to strengthen organizational resilience.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Google SecOps, Sentinel).
  • Strong hands-on experience with EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, threat intelligence, and cloud security.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK framework and Incident Response Methodology.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity laws, regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Skilled in risk management, policy creation, and compliance enforcement.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance and service management frameworks (ITIL).

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including interaction with executives.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making under pressure.
  • Capable of project management, change management, and strategic planning.
