CPC Cashier

Job description

To carry out the internal Cash Operations activities, monitor Cash Operations Logistics for control items. Ensure day-to-day operations are fully compliant with the relevant policy and operating procedures while performing duty

Roles and responsibilities

• Providing cash processing and cash consolidating services as instructed;
• Correct packing of the cash cassettes as per the replenishment schedule;
• Keep an ATM Cassette Register;
• Report on any damage/inoperable cassettes;
• Conduct a daily audit to ensure floor Limits not to be exceeded;
• Conducting daily full Cash Balancing and Reconciliation;
• Check and verify all the Cash Distribution and Closing Balance Reports;
• To carry out service quality responsibilities; and
• Random check on Mechanical & Electronic Interlocking Systems.

Major Tasks

• Maintain a complete audit record;
• Cash processing is in accordance with standing operational procedure;
• Hand-over procedures are correctly documented and receipted;
• All cash is accounted for and reported immediately in the event of a discrepancy;
• Random check on operations/security aspect;
• Maintain audit on security equipment of the CPC;
• Maintain security and confidentiality at all times;
• Assistance in the conduct of investigations in cash;
• Liaison on all Cash Operations activities and technical security issues; and
• Training and implementation to meet the business standards.

Other Tasks and Responsibilities

• Other tasks advised and/or required by the immediate supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year course;
• With at least 1 ear experience from the same field of work;
• Strong written and verbal communications skills;
• Able to work independently;
• can strictly follow instructions;
• Can multi-tasks;
• Has dependable time management skills;
• Able to work during holidays;
• Has excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced, HIGH-RISK environment;
• Has a strong sense of safety and security;
• willing to be assigned to a shifting work schedule;
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods; and
• Flexible in working in changing circumstances
