Job Description – Janitor (School Deployment)

Position Title: Janitor

Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor

Work Location: Molino, Bacoor, Cavite

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of classrooms, offices, restrooms, hallways, canteens, and school grounds.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing of floors, furniture, and fixtures.
• Ensure proper waste segregation and disposal in compliance with school and environmental regulations.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms (soap, tissue, disinfectants, etc.).
• Assist in the setup and cleaning of school facilities for events, assemblies, and activities.
• Report any maintenance issues (plumbing leaks, broken furniture, faulty lighting, etc.) to the supervisor.
• Safekeep and properly use janitorial equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals.
• Follow safety, health, and sanitation protocols, especially in areas accessed by children and staff.
• Support emergency cleaning tasks and other related duties as may be assigned.

Job Qualifications – Janitor (School Deployment)

• At least High School Graduate (preferred).
• With prior experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or custodial work (experience in school setting is an advantage).
• Physically fit to perform cleaning tasks and able to lift moderate weight.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, sanitation, and use of janitorial equipment.
• Can work with minimal supervision and follow instructions effectively.
• Trustworthy, responsible, and able to interact respectfully with students, teachers, and staff.
• Willing to be assigned in a school environment and adapt to a child-friendly workplace.
