We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Disputes Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating, validating, and responding to debit and credit card chargebacks in compliance with regulatory and network requirements. This role requires strong technical knowledge of dispute processing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate debit and credit card chargebacks in accordance with network and company policies
- Compile, prepare, and submit representment documentation within defined timelines
- Develop and maintain standardized chargeback response templates
- Monitor and maintain chargeback ratios below defined thresholds
- Analyze chargeback trends, identify root causes, and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with Risk and Underwriting, Legal, Product, and Engineering teams to improve dispute processes and prevent recurrence
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in card disputes processing and resolution
- Strong knowledge of chargeback rules, reason codes, and industry best practices
- Demonstrated analytical ability with experience using data to assess risk and support decisions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume tasks effectively
- Adaptable, proactive, and able to work in a dynamic and evolving environment
