Accounting Cashier

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required).
• At least 1–2 years of experience in cashiering, accounting, or related work.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

The Accounting Cashier is responsible for managing daily cash transactions, safeguarding funds, and providing accounting support to ensure accurate financial records. This position requires strong attention to detail, honesty, and the ability to handle financial data responsibly.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Process customer payments (cash, card, online, and other modes).
• Issue official receipts and record all transactions accurately.
• Secure and deposit daily collections to the bank.
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash fund.
• Prepare daily and monthly cash reports for management.
• Assist in bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform other accounting-related tasks assigned by management.
