What is the job?

The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and supporting key financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Payroll.

Responsibilities:


• Review, code, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and receipts.

• Maintain vendor records, perform periodic audits, and resolve vendor and internal inquiries.

• Process customer invoices, apply payments, and manage credit memos, adjustments, and retail disputes.

• Reconcile AR accounts, assist with transaction coding, and support monthly bank reconciliations.

• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies while supporting ad hoc projects.

Qualifications:


• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles in Retail, DTC Ecommerce, Manufacturing and CPG industries.

• At least two (2) to three (3) years of general inventory knowledge and management is required.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Paycor.

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, lookups).

• Strong analytical skills to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for process improvement.
