Position Summary

The client is seeking an experienced medical billing and customer service professional to serve as Revenue Cycle Management Supervisor. This role will provide strategic direction, hands-on leadership, and daily oversight for our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and excellence in all client and patient account processes.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage a team of approximately 20 Accounts Receivable agents, with potential for future growth.
  • Oversee all daily tasks related to client and patient account management, including billing, collections, and account follow-up activities.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain all standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across the team.
  • Monitor team performance, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and lead with confidence in a fast-paced collections environment.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify process gaps, improve workflows, and enhance collection outcomes.
  • Handle escalated client or clinician concerns related to billing or account resolution with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Use data and trend analysis to track results, identify root causes, and drive measurable improvement.
  • Partner with HR and leadership in recruiting, training, and performance management for team members.
  • Ensure all team deliverables and time-sensitive tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, and customer service, preferably in a healthcare or mental health setting.
  • Proven track record of success in patient and client collections.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing performance in a results-driven environment.
  • Strong project management, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Skilled in identifying process gaps, analyzing trends, and implementing improvements to enhance team efficiency and outcomes.
  • Confident, solutions-focused leader with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and accountability.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR), practice management systems, and medical billing and coding.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining compliance and confidentiality.
