Position: Embedded Firmware Engineer

Work Setup: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day WFH)

Schedule: Day Shift

Location:, Mandaluyong

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and test firmware for embedded systems. You'll be part of a dynamic product development team, taking concepts from design through to production. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across hardware and software teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain firmware for microcontrollers (MCUs).
  • Design low-level hardware drivers for UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, DMA, and interrupts.
  • Implement and execute test applications for hardware validation and production support.
  • Collaborate with hardware teams during board bring-up and system integration.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Manage version control, documentation, and release processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers.
  • Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in firmware development for embedded systems.
  • Proficient in C, C++, and Python programming.
  • Strong background in embedded systems architecture and communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
  • Skilled in firmware validation, testing, debugging, and code optimization.
  • Experience using Visual Studio, SDKs, and Scaled Agile methodology.
  • Knowledgeable in cybersecurity concepts, including threat modeling.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing or leading firmware design projects.
