Job Title: Medicare Enrollment Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medicare Enrollment Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the enrollment process with Medicare, including preparing and submitting applications, reviewing required documentation, and coaching for onsite visits. Prior experience with Medicare Durable Medical Equipment (DME) enrollment is preferred. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and knowledgeable about compliance requirements in healthcare enrollment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, complete, and submit Medicare and other payer enrollment applications accurately and within required timelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary documentation and information for applications.
- Review and maintain enrollment documentation, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Track application status, follow up with Medicare, and resolve enrollment issues and questions.
- Coach offices before onsite visits related to enrollment.
- Monitor and stay current with regulatory changes related to Medicare and DME enrollment.
- Provide regular reports on application progress, deadlines, and approvals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Medicare enrollment, credentialing, or a related healthcare field.
- Strong knowledge of DME enrollment processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with PECOS, NPI, and other Medicare systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
