Job Description

Directs and performs maintenance and repair work on the Engineering Department's ship systems in accordance with manufacturer's and shipbuilder's technical manuals. responsible for electrical, sewage treatment, lube oil, bilge, and oily water separation systems. Depending on usage, usually stands a watch[1] and sometimes assists the third mate in maintaining proper operation of the lifeboats.

Skills and Qualifications:

PREFERABLY WITH ELECTRONIC ENGINE EXPERIENCE

ATLEAST 12 MONTHS IN CURRENT RANKS WITH INTERNATIONAL SEABASED EXPERIENCE

ON HAND AND VALID DOCUMENTS FOR ATLEAST 18 MONTHS
