Pharmacist (TMC Clark)

About the role

The Medical City is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at our Clark Freeport Zone location in Pampanga. As a Pharmacist at The Medical City, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients. This is a full-time position, and you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication counselling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.

What you'll be doing

1. Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently
2. Provide patient-centered medication counselling to educate patients on the proper use, storage, and potential side effects of their medications
3. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication management and patient outcomes
4. Maintain detailed records of all medication dispensed and monitor for potential drug interactions or adverse reactions
5. Participate in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy operations and patient care

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
2. Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in the Philippines
3. At least 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital pharmacy setting
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve medication-related issues
6. Proficient in using pharmacy management software and other relevant technologies
7. Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care and upholding the highest standards of ethical and professional conduct
