As a Photographer Instructor, you will play a crucial role in developing the skills and creativity of our photography students, empowering them to capture stunning images. What you'll be doing
- Designing and delivering engaging photography lessons and workshops for students of all levels
- Providing hands-on instruction and guidance to help students master technical skills and artistic techniques
- Staying up-to-date with the latest photography trends, equipment and software, and incorporating new techniques into your teaching
- Evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback, and assisting them in achieving their photography goals
- Collaborating with the education team to develop and refine the photography curriculum
- Maintaining a positive, supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
What we're looking for
- Extensive experience as a professional photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your technical and creative skills
- A passion for teaching and a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective photography instruction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- A thorough understanding of photography equipment, software, and post-processing techniques
- A creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to devise innovative lesson plans and workshops
- A commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improving your own photography and teaching skills
