Main purpose of the PLM System Analyst role:

A PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) System Analyst plays a crucial role in collaborating with the project team to manage and optimize product data processes during the project implementation stage. As part of the project team, you will support the project team by facilitating system testing, documentation, process improvements, and other tasks to ensure successful implementation and ongoing maintenance.

Major Responsibilities:

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and document business requirements for the project development and related processes
• Support project manager on various stages of PLM system testing (functional tests, system integration tests, user acceptance tests, etc.)
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including use cases, process flows, test cases and requirement specifications
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates or enhancements as needed
• Collaborate closely with the team to provide project administrative support during different stages of SDLC
• Ensure accurate and consistent management of product data throughout the product lifecycle, including data validation and clarification with cross-functional team members
• Assist in creating and updating data analysis reports, helping the team analyze data and improve data accuracy and consistency
• Participate in team discussions to contribute ideas for process improvements and enhanced efficiency
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, ensuring they are completed accurately

• Complete ad-hoc tasks and assignments as directed by management

Education/ Training:

Any relevant certifications on Agile project management (e.g. PMI-ACP, PMI-PMP, Product Owner, Scrum Master, etc.), or business analysis professional (e.g. PMI-PBA, CBAP, etc.) is a plus

Required Competencies:

• Understanding of different stages of SDLC
• Understanding of different models of SDLC (Waterfall vs Agile)
