Senior US Tax Specialist/ Manager

About the role

This is a fully remote, full-time role and will be responsible for providing expert US tax guidance and support to our growing client base.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex US federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts
  • Provide strategic tax planning advice to minimise tax liabilities for clients
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant US tax laws and regulations
  • Liaise with clients, tax authorities, and other stakeholders to address tax-related queries and issues
  • Supervise and mentor more junior members of the tax team
  • Continuously stay up-to-date with changes in US tax legislation and best practices

Requirements

  • 3- 5+ years of experience in US corporate/international tax, preferably within a public accounting firm or multinational corporation
  • Proven expertise in preparing and reviewing complex US federal, state, and local tax returns
  • Strong technical knowledge of US tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical tax concepts into clear, actionable advice for clients
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals
  • CPA or EA certification is highly desirable
