Job Summary:

The Sales Consultant is responsible for driving sales growth, achieving targets, and expanding the company's distribution network. This role focuses on securing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position also involves negotiating favorable payment terms, reducing costs, and supporting collection efforts. The Sales Consultant represents the company professionally and ensures brand consistency while adhering to corporate policies.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Performance & Quota Achievement

  2. Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  3. Promote and effectively sell the company's products and services.
  4. Secure new projects and ensure repeat orders from existing clients.

  5. Distribution Expansion & Client Acquisition

  6. Focus on expanding distribution networks beyond maintaining current clients.

  7. Identify and acquire new clients and distributors in untapped areas.
  8. Develop market penetration strategies to drive business growth.

  9. Client Relationship Management

  10. Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.

  11. Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly addressing concerns and providing solutions.
  12. Provide market feedback and customer insights to management for strategic decision-making.

  13. Payment Terms Negotiation & Cost Reduction

  14. Negotiate favorable payment terms, such as cash-on-delivery (COD) or shorter credit terms.

  15. Assist in reducing costs through strategic client agreements.
  16. Improve pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.

  17. Collection & Payment Monitoring Support

  18. Assist in monitoring collections and ensuring timely payments from clients.

  19. Follow directives from management regarding sales policies and operational guidelines.
  20. Implement new company directives efficiently.

  21. Professionalism & Company Representation

  22. Represent the company with integrity, professionalism, and adherence to corporate standards.

  23. Maintain a strong and positive brand presence in the market.
  24. Uphold the company's reputation through ethical sales practices.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field or;
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in sales: paint, skimcoat, tile adhesives, mortar, waterproofing and the likes.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Experience in client acquisition, account management, and business development.
  • Knowledge of payment terms, cost reduction strategies, and market penetration.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willing to travel and conduct field sales within assigned areas.
