Job Overview

This position will focus on Designing, developing, and maintaining Software Engineering focused documentation, including: Software Design Documents, Product Design Documents, Deployment guides, References, and Release notes.

What You Will Do

*Works on several projects and go-to person on most projects

*Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements

*Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

*Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, and developer guides

*Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications

*Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities

*Create and maintain the information architecture

What You Will Bring

*Positive attitude, can-do spirit, attention to details, and passion for technical writing.

*Proficiency in using Unified Modeling language and UML tools.

*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to meet deadlines, and to simultaneously tackle and coordinate multiple projects.

*A BA or BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, English, or a related field.

*Strong command of standard American English grammar and usage.

*Ability to convert complex technical information into clean, concise, and coherent end-user documentation in plain English.

*Basic knowledge about Web-Based technologies.

*Technical writing coursework, certificate, or diploma is a plus.
