About the Role

Live Payments is seeking a Customer Onboarding Specialist.

We are seeking an experienced Customer Onboarding Specialist in a permanent full-time position to join our growing Philippines team of almost 30 people. This is predominantly a Voice role, working in a team of 5 based in Clark Freeport, to support our sales team in helping our business scale and grow.

Assigned to an Australian-based Senior Business Development Manager (SBDM), the Customer Onboarding Specialist will assist the SBDM by proactively ensuring customers have a smooth, efficient, and positive experience as they apply for our Merchant Services Products.

The impact you will have.

  • Processing and analyzing new customer applications including completing thorough reviews and checks.
  • Proactively engaged with customers via phone / email / text to gather additional information for applications and regularly providing status updates to merchants and the SBDM.
  • Projecting a natural, warm & confident experience to customers when engaging with over the phone
  • Setting up new customers in multiple systems, managing their accounts and tracking and reporting on merchant status
  • Managing updates and modifications required for account or product set up.
  • Communicating effectively with both local and remote teams, including Sales and Operations teams in Australia.
  • Proactively contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
  • Generating daily reports to provide insight into the work completed.

Working closely with both the Philippines Applications team and Sales and Operations teams based in Australia, you will be a true team player, motivated to make a positive impact and a natural ability to influence and negotiate. You will be an energetic, driven individual with remarkably high attention to accuracy and detail.

The talents you will bring:

  • Fluent in English
  • 4+ years in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, or similar, is well regarded though not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experiencing learning and working in new systems with confidence
  • Experience working in a high output environment.
  • Experience working productively in a Hybrid workplace.
