  • Technical Discovery & Qualification: Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to uncover customer challenges, existing infrastructure, and technical requirements related to cloud adoption, migration, or optimization.
  • Solution Design & Architecture: Design, document, and present tailored, multi-cloud or hybrid cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) that integrate offerings.
  • Technical Demonstrations & PoCs: Develop and deliver compelling, highly customized product demonstrations, technical workshops, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that showcase the technical viability and business impact of our solutions.
  • Proposal & RFP Response: Serve as the primary technical resource for responding to RFPs/RFIs, ensuring all technical sections are accurate, compelling, and aligned with the proposed architecture.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer internally, providing valuable feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams regarding market needs and feature gaps.
  • Enablement & Handoff: Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to the post-sales/implementation team by providing clear documentation, technical notes, and solution architecture diagrams.

Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise (5+ years): Proven experience in a Pre-sales, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting role, specifically focusing on cloud technologies.
  • Cloud Platform Fluency: Deep, hands-on knowledge and certification in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Expert) are highly preferred.
  • Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of core IT infrastructure components, including networking (VPNs, firewalls, load balancing), storage (object, block, file), security, and virtualization.
  • Consultative Selling: Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business value propositions for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation, whiteboarding, and written communication skills.
  • Programming/Scripting (Preferred): Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) or Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
