Carmona, Calabarzon, Philippines CARMONA HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER Full time ₱150,000 - ₱300,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet the clients whenever they come to the station.
  • Acknowledge their query about the department schedule of doctors and their specialization in a very polite manner.
  • Recognize the client's emotion especially if they are in pain.
  • Asses the client carefully prior to referral.
  • Take vital signs to serves as baseline data.
  • Attending the client's need.
  • Provides client's privacy.
  • Anticipate the doctor's need upon performing assessment and medical procedure to the patient.
  • Collects the professional fee of the doctors from the client.
  • Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments, surgeries and medical consultations.
  • Encode the client's record/chart in the OPD cabinets according to their consultants.
  • Proper documentation at the end of the shift to monitor the daily census.
  • Answer telephones, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
  • Greet visitors, ascertain purpose of visit, and direct them to appropriate staff.
  • Interview patients in order to complete documents, case histories, and forms such as intake and insurance forms.
  • Maintain medical records, technical library and correspondence files.
  • Perform various clerical and administrative functions, such as ordering and maintaining an inventory of supplies.
  • Perform bookkeeping duty particularly in credit and collections.
  • Complete insurance and other claim forms.
  • Prepare correspondence and assist physicians or medical scientists with preparation of reports, speeches, articles and conference proceedings.
  • Maintains the orderliness and cleanliness of the OPD area as well as the clinics.
  • Changing of linens in every single room.
  • Ensuring that the OPD has supplies to be used for everyday transactions.

General Job Qualifications

Education: Graduate or undergraduate of any medical course.

Experience/Training: At least 1 year previous experience in secretarial position is an advantage

Knowledge/Skills/Attitude:

  • Have knowledge nursing procedures.
  • With good communication skills and assisting patients' and doctors' concerns.
  • Can handle pressure; with strong moral & spiritual values
  • Can relate well in all levels of the organization.
  • Honest & trustworthy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skill with integrity, confidentiality and leadership capabilities.
  • Have background in customer care.
  • Computer literate.
