About the Role

We're looking for a creative, fast, story-driven Video Editor + YouTube Specialist who can turn long-form business videos into powerful, high-retention content that people actually finish watching. This isn't about cutting footage. It's about creating clarity, emotion, and story in a way that makes people think and act differently. If you instinctively understand pacing, tone, and storytelling… if you can make a 10-minute YouTube video feel like five… if you're obsessed with retention, hooks, and watch time — this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Edit 2–3 long-form YouTube videos each week with precision, pacing, and story flow in mind

Craft the first 30 seconds of every video to grab attention and keep it

Cut short-form clips and reels from each long-form video

Optimize all uploads for YouTube: titles, descriptions, tags, cards, and end screens

Design and A/B test thumbnails that get clicks without clickbait

Integrate clean, minimal text callouts and subtle motion graphics when needed

Collaborate with the Content Operations Director to plan visuals and narrative pacing

Track video performance data (CTR, watch time, retention) and continuously improve

Stay current with YouTube trends, storytelling techniques, and performance analytics

What We're Looking For

3+ years editing for YouTube or digital education content

Expert in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus)

Strong understanding of pacing, retention, and viewer psychology

Natural storyteller who understands rhythm and emotion

Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-managed

Strong communication skills — able to take feedback and improve fast

Curious about AI tools and automation that improve workflow

Works well in a structured, results-driven environment
