About the role
: We are seeking an experienced
Japanese Translators
who will act as the communication and coordination link between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and local/global delivery teams. The role requires strong Japanese language proficiency, technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multi-vendor environment.

Work Location:
Quezon City (Eastwood) or Cebu

Work Shift:
Rotational/ Flexible Shift

Responsibilities
:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese clients and internal development or support teams.
  • Translate documents, emails, presentations, and discussions from English to Japanese and vice versa, including materials containing kanji.
  • Participate in requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and status meetings with both Japanese and English-speaking teams.
  • Analyze business or technical requirements and estimate effort, risks, timelines, and solution impact.
  • Facilitate smooth communication, clarify requirements, and ensure proper understanding among cross-functional teams.
  • Lead or support solution discussions and help coordinate deliverables across multiple vendors.
  • Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation for internal and client use.

Qualifications
:

  • Fluent in Japanese
    with strong proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing kanji.
  • Minimum JLPT N2 level is required
    (
    JLPT N3 may be accepted
    for candidates with strong relevant experience).
  • Proven experience translating English Japanese in technical or business contexts.
  • Strong communication skills with excellent analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and take business or solution leadership in multi-vendor setups.
  • Experience in IT, engineering, or coordination/bridging roles is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working on a client-based schedule.
  • Willing to work in any designated site in Quezon City or Cebu.
