Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Assist chefs in food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to recipes and standards

– Ensure mise en place is ready before each service period

– Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen at all times

– Support in receiving, checking, and storing food supplies properly

– Assist in portioning, garnishing, and plating dishes under supervision

– Learn and apply kitchen techniques, tools, and procedures as guided by supervisors

– Follow safety guidelines when handling kitchen equipment and utensils

– Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

– Participate in training sessions to develop culinary knowledge and skills
