Job Summary:

The Welder is responsible for fabricating, assembling, repairing, and modifying metal components and structures used in formworks systems. This role ensures that all welding tasks are completed with high-quality workmanship and in compliance with safety and project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding tasks (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc welding) on steel formwork panels, frames, and accessories.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.
  • Operate welding and cutting tools such as torches, grinders, and plasma cutters.
  • Assemble formwork components and ensure structural integrity according to design specifications.
  • Conduct repair and maintenance of reusable formworks and metal parts.
  • Inspect completed welds for strength, accuracy, and appearance.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE while working.
  • Coordinate with the Formworks or Engineering team for any modifications or design adjustments.
  • Maintain welding equipment and report any issues or needed repairs.
  • Support team members in general fabrication or mechanical tasks when required.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or Technical/Vocational course in Welding or related field.
  • TESDA NC II or equivalent welding certification (preferred).
  • Minimum of [1–2] years of welding experience, preferably in construction or formworks.
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and follow welding procedures.
  • Knowledge of formworks systems (e.g., steel panels, braces, frames) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various site conditions.
  • Applicants must willing to work in Taytay, Rizal
