Job Description:

Oversees and manages the hospital's overall Information Technology (IT) operations and infrastructure
Plans, implements, and maintains IT systems to ensure data security, efficiency, and reliability
Leads the development and support of Hospital Information Systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), and other clinical or administrative systems
Manages IT staff, assigns tasks, and ensures timely completion of projects and support requests
Coordinates with hospital departments to align IT solutions with operational and clinical needs
Develops and enforces IT policies, data privacy, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery procedures
Evaluates and recommends new technologies to improve hospital processes and service delivery
Oversees vendor relations, system upgrades, and maintenance of network infrastructure and hardware
Ensures compliance with DOH and data protection regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act)
Prepares and monitors IT budget, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master's Degree is an advantage)
With proven experience in hospital IT operations or healthcare information systems
At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in IT management
Strong background in network administration, database management, and system security
Knowledgeable in Hospital Information Systems (HIS), EMR/EHR, and IT compliance standards
Excellent leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-department collaboration
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities
Willing to work onsite and render extended hours when necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php50, Php60,000.00 per month
