Purpose
This position is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting smart home systems using modern platforms like
Home Assistant
and
Crestron Home
. The ideal candidate is passionate about home automation, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and possesses hands-on experience in integrating a wide range of smart devices and protocols.

Work Overview

  • Design and implement smart home automation systems using Home Assistant, Crestron Home, or similar platforms.
  • Develop, test, and maintain automation workflows and integrations (e.g., lighting, climate, AV, security).
  • Work with MQTT, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and IP-based protocols to integrate devices.
  • Configure dashboards, mobile interfaces, and user experiences for homeowners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on new features, system upgrades, and client needs.
  • Provide support for installations, configurations, and troubleshooting (remotely or on-site as needed).
  • Research new technologies and propose system enhancements for performance and reliability.
