Role Overview:

This role is responsible for managing cost allocation and service billing processes, while also supporting key financial operations including month-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, tax and regulatory compliance, and fixed asset accounting.

Responsibilities:

Cost Allocation and Service Billing:

Execute cost allocation processes to ensure accurate distribution of expenses across relevant departments, in alignment with internal policies and accounting standards.

Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to validate cost drivers and ensure a fair and reasonable allocation of shared costs

Financial Reporting and Operations:

Support the month-end closing process by ensuring accurate and timely posting of accruals in accordance with accounting policies and reporting deadlines

Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including monthly/quarterly variance analysis and trend analysis.

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are properly supported and documented

Prepare and submit tax returns and ensure compliance with all regulatory reporting requirements.

Fixed Assets:

Maintain and update the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate capitalization, depreciation, and disposals in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Conduct periodic physical verification and reconciliation of fixed assets, investigating discrepancies and ensuring alignment between financial records and actual assets.

Prepare fixed asset-related reports and support audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis of asset transactions.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather information, share insights, and support business objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:

Qualifications:


•       Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.


•       Experience: 3+ years in Finance Planning & Analysis or similar operations.


•       Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Skills:


•       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


•       Excellent communication, and presentation skills.


•       Knowledgeable in financial modeling and forecasting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).


•       Ability to work independently or closely with senior members of Finance as part of a team.


•       Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.


•       Experience with ERP systems and other financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
