JOB DESCRIPTION: Operations Intern

Department: Operations

Schedule: Monday to Saturday

Employment Type: Internship / OJT (with allowance)

Work Location: South Caloocan

The Operations Intern will provide day-to-day support to the Operations Department by assisting with coordination, documentation, monitoring, and basic process improvement tasks. This role is designed to help the trainee gain real-world experience in operational workflows while contributing to the efficiency of the team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Administrative & Documentation Support

  • Assist in preparing, updating, and organizing operational files, reports, and logs.
  • Encode data into spreadsheets or internal systems accurately.
  • Ensure all documents are properly filed and maintained.

2. Process Monitoring

  • Help track daily operations such as deliveries, inventory activities, production flow, or service processes (depending on company operations).
  • Report any operational delays, concerns, or discrepancies to the supervisor.

3. Coordination

  • Assist in coordinating with internal departments such as Warehouse, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Help schedule activities and relay updates to concerned teams.

4. Inventory & Logistics Assistance (if applicable)

  • Participate in stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Provide support in monitoring movement of materials, supplies, or deliveries.

Qualifications

  • Open to students currently taking any course requiring OJT or internship hours.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn operational processes.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with internal teams.
  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and data encoding.
