Automotive Technician

The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on vehicles effectively and efficiently.

About the opportunity

• Accurately diagnose vehicle malfunctions using diagnostic tools, equipment, and technical manuals.
• Identifies the root cause of mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues.
• Performs thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Performs routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements, according to manufacturer specifications.
• Repairs or replaces defective parts, components, and systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, and air conditioning.
• Documents all work performed, including diagnoses, repairs, and parts used, following company procedures.
• Maintains and cares for all shop tools, equipment, and machinery, ensuring they are in safe and working order.

Qualifications

• Vocational training certificate in Automotive Technology
• With at least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in using various diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Experience in a car dealership is an advantage
• Willing to work in Calamba, Laguna
• Preferably with a valid Driver's License
