We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Part-Time Designer to help us elevate our brand across all digital touchpoints. Your main focus will be designing Instagram carousels, single images, IG reel covers, and YouTube video covers, as well as other marketing assets that keep our brand consistent, premium, and instantly recognisable. You may also support with light website design/optimisation to ensure our online presence is cohesive.

This is a part-time remote position (with some overlap across UK and US time zones), with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Design

• Design Instagram carousels, single posts, Story assets, and photo covers that are scroll-stopping, brand-aligned, and optimised for engagement.
• Create YouTube video covers/thumbnails that stand out and drive clicks while matching our brand identity.

Branding & Visual Consistency

• Maintain and refine our brand guidelines (colours, fonts, layouts, imagery style) across all platforms.
• Ensure every asset looks consistent, professional, and on-brand, regardless of format or channel.

Marketing Assets

• Design various marketing materials such as lead magnets, webinar covers, ad creatives, email headers, slide decks, and simple PDFs.
• Repurpose existing content into visually engaging formats for different platforms.

Website & Landing Pages (Nice to Have)

• Support with basic website/landing page layout and visual improvements (e.g., hero sections, banners, graphics) to enhance user experience and conversions.

Collaboration & Workflow

• Work closely with the content, marketing, and founder team to turn ideas and scripts into visuals.
• Manage your own design pipeline, meet deadlines, and respond to feedback quickly.

Qualifications

Design Skills

• Demonstrable experience in social media design (Instagram, YouTube, etc.) – a portfolio is a must.
• Strong skills in at least one of the following: Canva, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools.

Branding & Aesthetics

• Strong eye for typography, colour, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines and suggest improvements when needed.

Marketing Mindset

• Understanding of what makes content clickable, shareable, and engaging on social media.
• Bonus: Experience with personal brand content or online education / coaching brands.

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail and high standards for quality.
• Reliable, organised, and able to manage multiple design tasks simultaneously.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while communicating clearly with the team.
• Open to feedback, iteration, and continuous learning.
