About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team at DATEM Inc. in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of all on-site activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Manage and supervise on-site personnel, including subcontractors, to maintain high levels of productivity and quality
  • Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports, documenting any observations or concerns
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental requirements
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving measures

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in the construction of commercial or residential projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and project plans
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead on-site personnel
  • Willing to be assigned in Metro Manila or Cavite area
