Quality Assurance (QA) Officer – Restaurant

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage products served in the restaurant meet established quality, safety, and sanitation standards. This role involves monitoring daily operations, conducting inspections, implementing food safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with local health regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures in line with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, DOH guidelines).
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen, dining area, storage, and food handling practices to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
• Monitor proper food storage, preparation, cooking, and serving practices to prevent contamination.
• Review raw materials and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Provide training and guidance to kitchen and service staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective actions taken.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to food quality or safety.
• Work closely with management to continuously improve restaurant standards and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and relevant government regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Good communication and leadership skills for staff training and coordination.

Work Environment:

• Based in the restaurant with frequent presence in the kitchen, dining areas, and storage rooms.
• May involve shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays depending on restaurant operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php19,250.00 per month

Work Location: In person
