Job Title: Treasury Associate
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Treasury Associate to join our finance team at Novocore Pharma Inc., a leading pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will support treasury operations, manage cash flow, and ensure optimal liquidity for the organization, contributing to the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash flow needs, and executing wire transfers.
- Analyze and report on cash flow trends, working capital, and funding requirements to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Support the preparation of short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts to inform financial decision-making.
- Monitor bank accounts and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
- Assist in managing relationships with banking partners and financial institutions to optimize the company's banking services.
- Prepare treasury-related reports, including daily cash position reports and liquidity analyses, for senior management review.
- Support the implementation of internal controls to reduce financial risks and protect company assets.
- Aid in the review and analysis of financing options to support corporate initiatives and strategic projects.
- Collaborate with the accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in treasury management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a treasury function, banking, or finance role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of cash management, financial analysis, and treasury operations.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
