Position Summary

The Accounting Intern will support our accounting team with daily tasks, financial documentation, bookkeeping, tax preparation assistance, and general administrative work. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates who want practical experience in public accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry and updating financial records
  • Support bookkeeping functions, including account reconciliations
  • Help prepare financial statements and reports
  • Gather and organize documents for tax preparation
  • Assist with audit preparation and workpapers (if applicable)
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files
  • Conduct research on accounting and tax-related topics
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
  • Uphold confidentiality and follow firm policies

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative

Job Type: OJT (On the job training)

Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: Php1, Php2,000.00 per month
