Mobile Developer

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Developer who is passionate about building high-quality mobile applications that meet both user needs and business goals. In this role, you will primarily work on developing Android apps using Kotlin and iOS development through Compose Multiplatform when needed. You'll play an essential role in building and maintaining POS and non-POS mobile applications, integrating with back-end services, SDKs, and payment-related systems.

Beyond coding, you may also be involved in scheme certification support, direct client visits for technical troubleshooting, and mobile projects that require close coordination with UI/UX designers and cross-functional teams. Your work will directly contribute to the performance, reliability, and security of our mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop Android applications using Kotlin, following industry best practices and clean architecture principles.

· Design and develop iOS development using Compose Multiplatform, depending on project needs.

· Participate in POS application development and may also be assigned to non-POS mobile projects, depending on business requirements.

· Handle SDK integration and third-party library setup.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams—especially UI/UX designers—to translate design concepts into functional, high-quality apps.

· Ensure application performance, scalability, and security on supported Android devices.

· Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and databases.

· Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

· Contribute to scheme certification efforts by supporting compliance testing, documentation, and validation processes.

· When necessary, conduct client visits for integrations or troubleshooting, especially if the issue cannot be resolved by the Production Support Team.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest in Android development, Kotlin, and mobile tech standards.

· Take part in code reviews and continuously improve development practices and coding quality.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Proven experience in Android application development using Kotlin, with a solid understanding of app lifecycle, architecture, and design patterns (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture).

· Proficient in Kotlin and Java, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining production-ready Android applications.

· Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) for developing cross-platform apps, especially using JetBrains Compose Multiplatform.

· Experience in POS application development and SDK/API integration, including secure communication with backend services.

· Working knowledge of mobile app security best practices, including secure storage, encrypted data transmission, and permission handling.

· Comfortable using version control systems like Git, with experience in collaborative environments and code review processes.

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues—both remotely and on-site, if needed.

· Willingness to conduct client visits when production issues require direct integration or technical troubleshooting support.

· Self-motivated and reliable, with the ability to manage tasks independently and meet tight project deadlines.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and other software development life cycle (SDLC) frameworks; experience working in Agile teams is a strong advantage.

· Having experience in the payment industry is a plus.

· Having experience in developing applications certified with PCI DSS is a definite advantage.
