The SAP Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the SAP Finance team, ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and optimization of SAP Finance solutions. This leadership role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the SAP Finance team, leading the design and configuration of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, and ensuring that the systems meet the business's financial management needs. The team lead will collaborate closely with functional stakeholders, business units, and other IT teams to ensure SAP Finance solutions are aligned with organizational goals.

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, including full implementation and support cycles.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing or leading teams in an SAP Finance or SAP-related environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC systems, with a focus on Finance and Controlling modules.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage SAP projects, including system upgrades, implementations, and optimizations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in SAP Finance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, IT teams, and senior management.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to mentor and train junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

Preferred:

  • SAP S/4HANA Finance certification or experience with S/4HANA Finance functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori and user experience improvements in SAP Finance applications.
  • Exposure to SAP Cloud Platform or SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementations.
  • Experience in financial reporting tools such as SAP BusinessObjects or SAP BW.
  • Knowledge of additional SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD) for cross-functional integration.
