An HR Generalist handles a wide range of human resources functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. Their role is to ensure smooth daily HR operations, support employees, and foster a positive work environment by managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Compensation & Benefits: Administering employee benefits packages, including health insurance and retirement plans, and managing payroll.
  • Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and promoting a harmonious work atmosphere.
  • Performance Management: Assisting with performance evaluations, goal-setting, and employee development initiatives.
  • Compliance & Policy: Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and labor laws, as well as updating employee handbooks and maintaining HR records.
  • Training & Development: Identifying training needs and coordinating workshops to support employees' professional growth.
  • Employee Lifecycle: Managing processes related to staff exits, including orientation and offboarding.
