Stacker Operator

The primary objective of the Heavy Equipment Operator is to efficiently facilitate the mounting and dismounting of empty and loaded (full container load) containers from truck chassis and to properly manage the stockpiling of containers within the yard.

This position is central to the functionality of container yard operations, serving as a critical component in ensuring smooth and timely processes. Additionally, the Heavy Equipment Operator is accountable for monitoring the performance and maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment under their operation, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

1. Container Handling Efficiency

• Safely and efficiently facilitate the mounting and dismounting of empty and loaded containers from truck chassis.
• Accurately position containers in designated stockpile areas to optimize space and accessibility.

2. Equipment Operation and Maintenance

• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment, promptly reporting any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance team.

3. Adherence to safety protocols

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while operating heavy equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with workplace safety standards.

4. Operational Support and Coordination

• Collaborate with the container yard team and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and priorities.
• Communicate effectively with other operators and staff to ensure smooth workflow and task completion.

5. Record Keeping and Reporting

• Document daily equipment usage and any issues encountered during operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php Php850.00 per day
