We are seeking a dedicated and experienced
Corporate HSEQ Officer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our
Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)
management systems, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, industry standards, and company policies. This role plays a critical part in fostering a safe and sustainable workplace culture across all corporate operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements safety, health, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) policies, procedures, and standards in compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversees employee medical fitness assessments, including pre-employment, annual medical examinations, and adherence to "Fitness to Work" policies.
  • Designs and coordinates health and wellness programs, seminars, and partnerships with accredited health providers.
  • Maintains and updates health monitoring matrices, HSE reports, and government-mandated compliance documentation.
  • Acts as Pollution Control Officer and ensures timely submission of statutory requirements to relevant Philippine government agencies.
  • Conducts pre-mobilization safety briefings, HSE awareness sessions, and specialized HSEQ-related training.
  • Performs worksite visits, audits, safety inspections, and accident/incident investigations, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Engages with clients, medical providers, and employees on HSEQ matters, ensuring strong communication and relationship management.
  • Monitors site activities for safe working practices, with authority to stop unsafe acts and enforce corrective measures.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or any relevant discipline.
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in HSEQ roles, preferably in the construction and oil and gas industries.
  • Should have a strong background in risk assessment, accident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Must possess the required training and certifications in compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining HSE management systems in accordance with Philippine labor laws and international standards.
  • Knowledgeable of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), Environment Laws (DENR), and DOLE requirements.
  • Familiarity with client audits, third-party safety inspections, and HSE reporting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to interact with management, employees, and regulatory bodies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to investigate incidents and propose preventive measures.
  • Ability to train and mentor employees on safety policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff in a multicultural environment.
