What are we looking for?
As a Senior .Net Developer (Winform), you will be a vital contributor in a small, fast-paced development team. You'll collaborate closely with the team lead and fellow developers to deliver high-quality features, solve complex technical problems, and play a key role in our transition to modern technology stacks.

This role offers a balance between maintaining stability in our legacy systems and innovating with cutting-edge technologies. You'll be working across desktop, web, and mobile platforms, with opportunities to contribute to architecture, technical leadership, and AI integration.

What are you expected to do?

• Design, develop, and maintain POS applications using the .NET stack (WinForms, WebAPI, Blazor, MAUI/Xamarin).
• Enhance and support legacy systems, particularly WinForms and Crystal Reports, while contributing to their gradual modernization.
• Assist in migrating:
  • Angular front-end applications to Blazor.
  • Crystal Reports to RDLC.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for both Postgres and SQL Server databases.
• Apply ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or Dapper for robust data access.
• Contribute to cross-platform mobile application development using MAUI/Xamarin for iOS and Android.
• Build and enhance UI using Syncfusion components.
  
• Integrate and leverage AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude) to enhance application functionality.
• Use Jira and Confluence for agile project and documentation management.
• Participate in solution design, code reviews, and mentorship activities within the team.
  
  

You'll be a great fit if:

• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development across both desktop and web platforms, including WinForms, WebAPI, and Blazor.
• You bring advanced SQL skills, with practical experience using Postgres and/or SQL Server.
• You're experienced with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
• You have practical knowledge of maintaining and modernising legacy applications.
• You've worked with reporting tools like Crystal Reports and RDLC.
• You're familiar with mobile development frameworks, such as Xamarin and/or MAUI.
• You have exposure to modern front-end frameworks, including Blazor or Angular.
• You've worked with or are eager to explore AI tools and APIs, such as OpenAI or Claude.
• You communicate effectively in English and are comfortable working independently in a distributed team environment.
• You thrive in a collaborative, solution-focused environment and genuinely enjoy solving complex problems.

We will be absolutely thrilled if you also have the following:

• Background in hospitality, POS, or retail technology.
• Experience working with SaaS or multi-tenant platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Ability to engage with clients and translate their needs into functional solutions.
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to support others.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.

What happens after you submit your application?

The whole process takes around 4 weeks:

• There will be 3-4 interviews and a possible assessment from our client partner. You will undergo an initial interview, a culture interview, and 1-2 interviews with our cool client. This will run for about 1-2 weeks but we will let you know if we need to ramp it up. Be yourself and have fun.
• We will constantly communicate with you as to the development of your application. You can also directly communicate with us to ask us about the status of your application.
• If all goes well, we complete the reference check and provide other necessary requirements so we can offer you the job right away.
