Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Performs basic to advanced modeling and drafting based on company standards under supervision of a leader;
• Designs and analyses interior system and components in cooperation with system engineers;
• Performs system safety analysis, including hazard assessment and fault stress analysis;
• Collaborates with other Engineering groups, Manufacturing, Operations and Supply Chain;
• Manages and meets cost and product weight targets.
• Participates in the validation of the product using different engineering methods.
• Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

Qualifications:

• Engineering graduate, preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Aeronautical
• With at least 3 years of involvement in a design organization producing component level design and Research and Development;
• Experience in any of these design software applications: CAD/CATIA V5/NX or other complex CAD software applications;
• Knowledge of using NX is an advantage.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
