Job Summary:

The Industrial Engineering (IE) Specialist is responsible for supporting the optimization of manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. This role involves leading LEAN projects, analyzing workflows, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure production targets are met effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the development and improvement of production processes and systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  2. Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and waste reduction. Participate in projects related to layout planning, facility design, equipment optimization and LEAN trainings.

  3. Develop and standardize operating procedures (SOPs) and drive continuous process improvements.

  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including production, quality, and logistics—to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably has earned Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in industrial engineering;
  • Has work experience as IE Staff/Specialist in a manufacturing (shoes, textile, garments, and bags) industry.
  • Proficiency in IE tools and methodologies, such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Proficiency in software/tools like MS Office, and ERP systems.
