Technical Custodian

Job Description:

• Receive, issue, and monitor biomedical tools, calibration instruments, and service kits.
• Maintain an accurate inventory system and tool issuance records.
• Ensure tools and instruments are properly stored, clean, and in working condition.
• Conduct regular inspections and coordinate calibration, servicing, or replacement of defective tools.
• Support biomedical technicians by ensuring availability of necessary tools for equipment servicing.
• Handling technical teams and administrative task ( liquidation, requesting budgets and KPI monitoring.)
• Enforce compliance with safety, calibration, and handling procedures for biomedical tools.
• Prepare inventory, usage, and calibration status reports for submission to the Supervisor.
• Assist in procurement requests for specialized biomedical instruments and replacement parts.
• Implement security and accountability measures for high-value tools and instruments.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a vocational/technical course in electronics, biomedical technology, or related field.
• Experience in tool keeping, inventory, or biomedical servicing is an advantage.
• Familiarity with biomedical tools, calibration instruments, and safety standards.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Excel, inventory systems).
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate with biomedical technician.
