Leadership & Management
- Oversee daily operations of the pastry department, including scheduling, task assignments, and workflow.
- Lead, train, mentor, and supervise pastry cooks, bakers, and assistants.
- Conduct performance evaluations and participate in hiring decisions.
- Develop innovative pastry, dessert, bread, and specialty baked goods menus.
- Test and refine recipes for quality, consistency, and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee preparation, baking, and presentation of all pastry items.
- Maintain high standards of taste, texture, design, and plate presentation.
- Ensure consistency in portion sizes, ingredients, and production methods.
- Stay updated on pastry trends and bring new ideas into the operation.
