The Mobile App Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications across platforms (iOS, Android, hybrid frameworks). This role ensures that mobile solutions are robust, secure, and user-friendly, while contributing to R&D and innovation initiatives by implementing emerging technologies, integrations, and digital features that enhance the mobile user experience. The Mobile App Developer reports to the Development Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms
  • Implement integrations with third-party services and internal systems
  • Optimize mobile applications for performance, responsiveness, and scalability
  • Collaborate with Systems/Application Teams to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Work closely with Infrastructure/Technical teams to ensure compliance with security, architecture, and deployment standards
  • Conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to development policies and best practices
  • Participate in R&D initiatives, exploring new frameworks, tools, and technologies to enhance mobile solutions
  • Support digital transformation projects by implementing innovative mobile features and user experiences

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in mobile application development
  • Proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in mobile development frameworks (Flutter, React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Java)
  • Experience with native iOS/Android development and cross-platform solutions
  • Knowledge of API development and integration (REST, GraphQL)
  • Familiarity with databases (SQLite, Firebase, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile DevOps practices
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong grasp of security compliance, responsive design, and performance optimization
