What You'll Do
As Vice President, Finance Shared Services you will play a central role in orchestrating the full spectrum of finance operations—ranging from strategic planning cycles to regulatory submissions—while fostering a culture of collaboration across all business units. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you guiding teams through complex financial analyses that inform executive decisions; overseeing rigorous compliance measures; managing investor communications; embedding sustainability into every aspect of reporting; and driving operational excellence through automation and data quality initiatives. Success in this position requires not only technical mastery but also an ability to nurture talent pipelines and build trusted partnerships with both internal stakeholders and external entities. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all financial processes are executed seamlessly while upholding the highest standards of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Oversee all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including annual budgeting cycles, quarterly forecasts, long-range planning, scenario modelling, and performance insights across the group.
- Establish effective business partnering relationships across various segments to provide comprehensive decision support that enhances value creation and cost optimisation.
- Direct Group Accounting & Taxation activities to ensure accurate statutory close processes while strengthening compliance with internal controls and capital management requirements.
- Develop and maintain policies governing revenue recognition, provisioning, intercompany transactions, and chart of accounts governance to uphold financial integrity.
- Manage investor relations by coordinating disclosures calendars, preparing earnings materials such as MD&A reports and presentations, and maintaining proactive communication with analysts and market participants.
- Embed sustainability into financial planning by aligning reporting standards with ESG frameworks; ensure readiness for sustainability assurance in line with regulatory expectations.
- Supervise end-to-end close calendar governance for all reporting streams including MPR, BSR, IR reporting; lead master data governance initiatives for accuracy in reference data management.
- Implement SOX-like controls frameworks by instituting regular testing cadences, remediation plans, automation enhancements, and continuous process improvements.
- Champion change management efforts by developing high-performing teams through talent development programmes and succession planning for critical finance roles.
- Engage regularly with executive leadership teams (ELT), board committees, regulators such as BSP, rating agencies, and investors to represent the organisation's interests at key forums.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is required; CPA or equivalent certification is mandatory while CFA or MBA qualifications are highly desirable.
- A minimum of 12–15 years' progressive experience in finance leadership roles within banking/financial services or large multinational organisations is essential for success in this position.
- Demonstrated expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), financial controlling practices including statutory close processes as well as regulatory reporting requirements is crucial.
- Proven track record managing investor relations activities such as disclosure preparation, analyst guidance coordination, consensus tracking and market intelligence gathering is expected.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ESG standards coupled with hands-on experience ensuring compliance with local regulations like Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) sustainability requirements is vital.
- Advanced proficiency using ERP/EPM systems along with consolidation tools; experience implementing data governance frameworks is highly valued.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills enabling effective stakeholder management at all organisational levels—from executive leadership teams to board committees—and external partners such as regulators or investors.
