Routine Maintenance:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacement, coolant flushes, and fuel system services.

  • Inspect and service driveline, transmission, and exhaust systems.

  • Mechanical Repairs:

  • Repair or replace engine components, fuel injection systems, cylinder heads, and gaskets,

  • Service and repair transmission system (manual and automatic), differentials, clutches, and gearboxes.
  • Adjust and replace brake systems (air brakes and hydraulic systems).

  • Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems, steering components, and cooling systems.

  • Electrical and electronic Systems:

  • Diagnose and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, sensors, and onboard diagnostic (OBD system.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot battery, alternator, and starter motor issues.

  • Safety and Compliance:

  • Conduct safety inspections in compliance with Regulatory Agency for Land Transportation and other relevant regulations.

  • Ensure all vehicles meet emissions and roadworthiness standards.

  • Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.

  • Complete work orders, inspections reports, and service logs using management software or 'manual logs.

6. Equipment and Tool Maintenance:

  • Keep tools, equipment, and the workshop area clean and in good working order.
  • Perform basic fabrication and welding when necessary.

7. Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicate effectively with drivers, Motorpool Supervisor, Operations Supervisors regarding repairs and downtime.
  • Provide estimates on repair time.
