CIVIL SITE ENGINEER (FOR TELCO PROJECT)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the on-site execution, supervision, and quality control of telecommunication installations, including mobile towers, fiber optic networks, BTS (Base Transceiver Stations), and other associated equipment. You will act as the technical point of contact between project managers, contractors, and clients, ensuring timely and quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise on-site telecom infrastructure deployment and installation activities (e.g., tower erection, BTS installation, microwave links, fiber optic cabling, etc.)
  • Ensure all site work is carried out in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Perform site inspections, surveys, and audits to ensure proper site conditions before and after installation.
  • Verify as-built drawings, site documentation, and progress reports.
  • Monitor project timelines and report delays or issues to the Project Manager.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation or integration.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of telecom equipment (e.g., VSWR, DTF, fiber loss tests).
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, materials used, and manpower on-site.
  • Liaise with network planners, civil engineers, and RF engineers to ensure optimal execution.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Willing to relocate nationwide
  • With at least 1-2 years of experience in Telco projects
