JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Prepare the movement of products through Valves and Line arrangements from/to storage tanks, vessels and lorries.
Control or operate manifold and pumping systems (pumps, motors, batch controllers) to allow flow of fuel products during truck loading, blending operations, inter-tank transfers, and tanker receiving/loading.
Handles the checklists of pre and post loading activities on tank truck loading activities.
Responsible for monitoring and proper handling of fuel, lubes, dyes and additives, and ensuring accurate levels are manually blended into products.
Regularly inspect storage pails and drums in warehouse area, and prevent potential spills, leaks and untoward incidents.
Maintain good housekeeping on warehouse area, gantry platforms and canals, loading areas and berthing facilities.
Monitor temperature and pressure instruments, gauges, meters, relief system, in order to detect and report any possible problems.
Performs equipment pre-use inspection and basic maintenance and trouble shooting. 9. Repair and clean equipment when needed.
Operate equipment to transfer packages between warehouse and working area.
10. Conduct safety walkabout and reports unsafe act and conditions.
11. Perform quality checks of products (Diesel, Gasoline, Fuel oils, and Jet A1), assessing levels of bottom sediment, water and foreign materials in oil samples.
12. Perform blending of Coco methyl ester and Ethanol to base products.
13. Measure inventory and temperature gauge levels, and use standard ASTM tables for conversions and reporting.
14. Reconcile total volume loaded against sales invoice.
15. Work under the guidance of supervisor to perform the duties and responsibilities on a timely manner.
16. Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements.
17. Follow safety procedures and policies.
18. Handles filing of materials, billings, monitoring and control of documents.
19. Performs daily gauging of fuel, dye, and additive inventory levels and prepare loading/unloading of fuels from/to storage tanks, tank trucks and vessels, thru operating valves, manifolds, product pumps, and flow meters.
20. Assists Operations Supervisor in all terminal operating activities.
21. Performs other relevant functions assigned by his superiors.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Preference for college graduates. Engineering graduates is an advantage.
Must be at least a college level or graduate of any vocational course.
Other combinations of training and/or experience that can be demonstrated to result in the possession of knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of this position will also be considered.
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
