This position ensures that the department's objectives, targets, and programs (OTPs) will be fully accomplished and completed. As they will be directly involved in communicating with the Project Managers and their staff. All Senior Project Offices should have extensive knowledge and experience in their respective disciplines. They are also expected to work closely and pro-actively with the entire PMO team, including in design, cost and schedule management aspects.

Senior Project Officers will motivate and lead in staff professional development training, including those conducted or arranged by the top management and authorized representatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates and systematically maintains a project portfolio of project management methodologies, best practices, standards and list of lessons learned including design documents, contracts, and progress reports in a project database. Provide training and support to project team members as necessary.
  • Enforces the implementation of Construction Project Management Plan in the project site by performing audit to ensure that the standard operating procedures are being implemented by all parties for the quality and timely delivery of the project.
  • Prepares audit report, monitor and record corresponding corrective and preventive actions/measure required from each audited project site.
  • Oversees project progress, identify and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to potential risks and issues that could impact project success.
  • Collates and reviews regular project reports and dashboards submitted by each project and submits to stakeholders as required.
  • Assists in enabling innovation within the department or business unit through active research and study, participating in industry best practice sharing and keeping abreast with the immerging trends in systems in Information Technology
  • Oversee the development of architectural and engineering designs from initial concept to construction documentation, ensuring compliance with design guidelines, building codes, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during construction to integrate architectural and engineering designs with other systems and meet the regulatory standards, and discuss project timelines, design challenges, and design adjustments.
  • Attends site meeting and inspections, as deem necessary, to address specific issues related to PMO
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job Qualification

  • Must be a Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
  • Minimum of five (5) years related work experience
  • Proficient in design software (i.e. AutoCAD, Revit or Navisworks, SketchUp, Lumion or Enscape, STAAD) and Microsoft office
